Hybrid Units

Optional Solar Solution:

The Generator Logic Solar Hybrid is built on the Generator Logic Hybrid / Power Cube platform, using Eltek or Delta rectifiers with North Star Blue, Lead Crystal, or Enersys batteries. For AC loads, an inverter is integrated with the same battery options.

To maximize space efficiency, a modular solar frame supports 8 × 320W solar panels, seamlessly integrating with any Generator Logic Hybrid Generator. A compatible solar rack and module must be configured for the existing rectifier unit.

Energy Arbitrage Capability

The hybrid controller enables energy arbitrage, allowing the system to charge batteries during off-peak tariffs (e.g., nighttime grid power) and discharge during peak demand periods, optimizing your total energy cost and reducing reliance on high-cost power.

Generator Integration for Load Support and Fast Charging

Generators can be intelligently dispatched to charge batteries quickly during high-load periods or when solar availability is low. This approach reduces generator runtime, fuel consumption, and O&M costs by allowing short, efficient operation cycles (e.g., 4–5 hours), followed by extended battery discharge.

Dynamic Source Prioritization

Our hybrid systems leverage advanced control logic—such as those found in ComAp, DEIF, or PLC-based controllers—to automatically switch between sources based on real-time cost, availability, and system load:

  • If grid power returns during a generator cycle, the system will seamlessly transition to grid supply if it's the cheaper or more stable option.

  • When solar input is sufficient, the system prioritizes PV to supply the load and charge storage.

Benefits of Hybridization

  • Lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE)

  • Reduced generator OPEX and maintenance

  • Improved system uptime and resiliency

  • Grid independence with optional islanding modes

  • Maximized renewable penetration

Our hybrid platforms are modular, scalable, and tailored for diverse applications—from commercial buildings and telecom infrastructure to industrial facilities and remote microgrids.

A hybrid power system integrates multiple energy sources—such as solar PV, battery storage, diesel or gas generators, wind, and grid supply—into a single, optimized power architecture. The system dynamically prioritizes the most cost-effective and efficient source in real-time, delivering reliable power with significant operational savings.
